Job summary

Windward Management Limited, owner of The Anner Hotel, is seeking an Accommodation Assistant to maintain guest rooms and public areas to high standards. You will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, providing friendly service and supporting the accommodation team.

This role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean guest accommodation and public areas following SOPs.
• Be adaptable across all areas of the department and assist as needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Plan, organise and control daily workload of the accommodation assistants.
• Attend management meetings and briefings as requested.

Accommodation Assistant - The Anner

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accommodation Assistant to join our team.

About The Anner Hotel

The Anner Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in Thurles, mid-way between the cities of Cork and Dublin and is only 1.5 hours from all major cities. In the heart of Tipperary, the Anner Hotel offers great accommodation with 92 guest rooms all tastefully decorated in restful tones, fine casual dining in Ed Bistro and Seasons Restaurant, private dining, conference suites and an extensive award-winning Leisure Centre with an 18-metre pool.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be professional, enthusiastic, and trustworthy. You will demonstrate excellent communicational skills as well as the initiative required to multi-task in this busy environment.

Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be able to work flexible shift patterns (including evenings and weekends) and work through all areas of the department.


• To be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt and change to work well under pressure.


• To comply with health and safety procedures at all times.


• To inspect and clean guest accommodation and public areas in line with the hotel’s standard operating procedures.


• To follow direction from the accommodation management team.


• To help, support and be open to new ideas.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the entire department.


• To help plan, organise and control the daily workload of the accommodation assistants.


• Attend meetings and briefings as requested by management.
