Job summary

The Cavan Crystal Hotel is seeking an Accommodation Assistant to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in bedrooms and public areas. The role requires working both weekdays and weekends and involves restocking items and reporting maintenance issues to ensure guest satisfaction.

Candidates with prior hotel experience are preferred, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a hotel setting is advantageous.
• Must be available to work both weekdays and weekends.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned bedrooms, bathrooms, corridor areas, balcony areas and public/leisure areas to the highest standards using approved products.
• Ensure stocks of bathroom and bedroom items are replenished to the required standards.
• Complete assigned areas within the required time with high cleanliness.
• Restock supplies as directed by the Accommodation Manager/Supervisor.
• Report maintenance defects that affect guest experience or safety.
• Adhere to all systems and procedures in place.
• Dispose of wet waste, glass and recyclables safely and appropriately.
