Job summary

Griffith College seeks a Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) Officer to support and enhance academic quality across campuses in Dublin, Cork and Limerick. The role develops and applies QQI-related compliance, contributes to policy implementation and reporting, and collaborates with academic staff to maintain standards.

The successful candidate will work autonomously and with teams, manage projects for QAED, and help maintain Griffith College’s reputation for academic excellence and student

Qualifications

• Previous experience of implementing/managing quality assurance procedures in higher education.
• Wide interests across a range of subject disciplines and opportunities to learn and explore new areas.
• Professional, respectful and welcoming in all interactions, supporting diversity and inclusion.
• Proven report writing capabilities for audiences in higher education, nationally and internationally.
• Excellent written English and ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support academic managers and programme teams on development, management and admin issues.
• Develop and implement College quality assurance policies and procedures with the QAED team.
• Edit and finalise documentation to comply with QAE practices and QQI standards.
• Support publication development (handbooks, calendars, programme docs).
• Assist with protection for enrolled learners, appeals and complaints processes.
• Prepare reports for external validating and accreditation agencies and internal reviews.
