NeoDyne, a leading engineering company, is recruiting a Graduate Automation Engineer for their Galway office as part of a two-year System Integration graduate programme. You will work across industrial automation projects, including PLC/SCADA design, MES integrations, and control logic programming, with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning on real client sites.

  • Level 8 degree in Electrical/Automation/Mechanical/Instrument Engineering or equivalent.
  • Full Irish driving license or ability to obtain within 12 months of starting.
  • 0–2 years' experience in a similar manufacturing process improvement role or work placement.
  • Experience programming PLCs.

Responsabilidades

  • Rotate through projects across Industrial Automation including PLC/SCADA design, MES, control logic programming, and site testing/commissioning.
  • Generate technical documentation and liaise with customers; travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning.
  • Induction uses a 70-20-10 model combining hands-on learning, mentoring, and formal education.

Position Summary

NeoDyne are recruiting a Graduate Automation Engineer to join our expanding System Integration team. Our graduate programme is all about learning new and developing your existing skills. Over a two-year period, you will be placed in projects where you get to do meaningful work and contribute to the business.

This Graduate opportunity is offered as a full-time permanent contract, based at our Galway Office, with an excellent salary and benefits package. What might I be doing?
  • Over a two-year period, you will be placed in projects where you get to do meaningful work and contribute to the business. Projects will be spread across all areas of Industrial Automation and could include PLC and SCADA design, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), control logic programming, control panel hardware design, and site testing & commissioning.
  • Generating technical documentation and dealing with customers will also be key parts of our graduate programme to help develop your soft skills. You will also have the opportunity to travel to customer sites to get involved in installation, testing, and commissioning.

Required
Experience & skills
  • Level 8 Degree in Electrical/ Automation/ Mechanical/ Instrument Engineering, or equivalent.
