Job summary
A manufacturing company in Kendal, Indonesia is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in apparel manufacturing. Responsibilities include preparing layouts and identifying optimization opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Min. 2 years experience as Industrial Engineer in Apparel Manufacturing.
- Required language(s): English.
- GSD License certification will be a plus point.
Responsibilities
- Prepare layout, Yamazumi and machine setting STW.
- Identify opportunities to optimize operational work content.
- Engage with engineers to identify autonomation opportunities.
Skills
Education
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalents
- Min. 2 years experience as Industrial Engineering in Apparel Manufacturing
- Required language(s): English
- Having a working experience in this related field will be a plus point
- GSD License certification will be a plus point
- Strong analytical skills with an innovative mindset
- Strong & excellent communication, leadership skills & interpersonal skills
- Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing
- Flexibility to work in shifting basis
- Prepare layout, Yamazumi and machine setting STW
- Identify opportunities to optimize operational work content allocated to TM to increase productive with the same footprint. Engage with the Machine Design & Development engineer & Autonomation Engineer to identify autonomation opportunities to reduce operational SMV
- Be on alert for abnormalities in shop floor and engage in resolving them
