Job summary

PT Super Wahana Tehno in Central Kalimantan is seeking a Technical Assistant to oversee budgeting and the development of daily, monthly, and annual work plans for plant operations. You will coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, and vehicles, ensuring repairs and maintenance align with the program.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, has at least 3 years in a technical assistant role within a palm oil plantation, and is prepared to be placed in Central Kalimantan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years as Technical Assistant in Palm Oil Plantation.
• Experience with heavy equipment maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Budget and annual work plan creation based on field conditions.
• Create monthly and daily work plans and material requirements.
• Submit monthly operational fund plan.
• Create machine maintenance schedule (SPM) aligned with machine hours.
• Coordinate foreman, mechanics, and clerks to meet daily plan targets.
• Ensure availability of labor and tools for all activities.
• Organize distribution of manpower, heavy equipment, and vehicles to optimize repairs.
• Request materials for workshops and ensure timely availability.
• Monitor third-party repairs and ensure operable equipment.
• Verify spare parts repaired by third party and returns of used parts per policy.

Responsible for budgeting, creating daily and monthly work plan, coordinating and organizing the distribution of manpower, heavy equipment and vehicle based on needs, as well as monitoring all repairs done.

Job Description

• Create a budget based on the field conditions and the estimated treatment plan for the following year.


• Creates a monthly work plan and necessary materials based on the workshop work program.


• Creates a daily work plan based on the monthly work plan and the current condition and needs.


• Submits a plan of necessary operational workshop fund every month.


• Creates an machine maintenance schedule (SPM) based on the working hours of the machine so that it can operate normally.


• Coordinate all foreman, mechanics, and clerks to ensure the daily work plan (RKH) is implemented in accordance with set targets.


• Coordinates and ensures all the needed labors and tools are available for all activities.


• Coordinates and organizes the distribution of manpower, heavy equipment and vehicle based on needs in order to maximize the work of repairing the vehicles/machine/heavy equipment.


• Requests for the needed materials for workshops and ensures they are available on time and they are appropriate.


• Monitors all repairs done by the third party technicians that cannot be repaired by the first party and ensures the repaired vehicles/heavy equipment/machine are operable.


• Ensures the accuracy of the spare parts repaired by a third party and the returns of the replaced spare parts (used) in accordance with company policy.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.


• At least 3 years of experience as Technical Assistant in Palm Oil Plantation.


• Required skills: Overhaul Heavy Equipment, Dump Truck, Excavator, etc.


• Willing to be placed in Central Kalimantan.
