Job summary

Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) in Central Kalimantan seeks a Technical Assistant in the Palm Oil Plantation sector. You will budget, plan daily and monthly activities, and coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, and vehicles to meet targets.

You will monitor repairs and manage third-party services to keep machines operational. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of related experience, with willingness to be placed in Central Kalimantan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as Technical Assistant in Palm Oil Plantation.
• Required skills: Overhaul Heavy Equipment, Dump Truck, Excavator.

Responsibilities

• Create a budget based on field conditions and the estimated treatment plan for the following year.
• Create a monthly work plan and necessary materials based on the workshop work program.
• Create a daily work plan based on the monthly plan and current condition.
• Submit a plan of necessary operational workshop funds every month.
• Create a machine maintenance schedule (SPM) based on machine working hours.
• Coordinate foreman, mechanics, and clerks to implement the daily work plan (RKH).
• Coordinate and ensure needed labor and tools are available for all activities.
• Distribute manpower, heavy equipment, and vehicles to maximize repair work.
• Request materials for workshops and ensure timely availability and suitability.
• Monitor repairs by third party technicians and ensure operability of repaired assets.
• Ensure accuracy of repaired spare parts and returns of used parts per policy.

Responsible for budgeting, creating daily and monthly work plan, coordinating and organizing the distribution of manpower, heavy equipment and vehicle based on needs, as well as monitoring all repairs done.

Job Description :

• Create a budget based on the field conditions and the estimated treatment plan for the following year.

• Creates a monthly work plan and necessary materials based on the workshop work program.

• Creates a daily work plan based on the monthly work plan and the current condition and needs.

• Submits a plan of necessary operational workshop fund every month.

• Creates an machine maintenance schedule (SPM) based on the working hours of the machine so that it can operate normally.

• Coordinate all foreman, mechanics, and clerks to ensure the daily work plan (RKH) is implemented in accordance with set targets.

• Coordinates and ensures all the needed labors and tools are available for all activities.

• Coordinates and organizes the distribution of manpower, heavy equipment and vehicle based on needs in order to maximize the work of repairing thevehicles/machine/heavyequipment.

• Requests for the needed materials for workshops and ensures they are available on time and they are appropriate.

• Monitors all repairs done by the third party technicians that cannot be repaired by the first party and ensures the repaired vehicles/heavy equipment/machine are operable.

• Ensures the accuracy of the spare parts repaired by a third party and the returns of the replaced spare parts (used) in accordance with company policy.

Job Requirement :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• At least 3 years of experience as Technical Assistant in Palm Oil Plantation.

• Required skills: Overhaul Heavy Equipment, Dump Truck, Excavator, etc.

• Willing to be placed in Central Kalimantan.
