Job summary

Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) Indonesia is seeking a Technical Assistant to support budgeting, planning, and coordination for palm oil operations across Kalimantan. You will help develop yearly budgets, monthly work plans, and daily work plans, while ensuring machine maintenance and material readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Technical Assistant in Palm Oil Plantation.
• Willing to be placed in Central Kalimantan.

Responsibilities

• Create a budget based on field conditions and the estimated treatment plan for the following year.
• Create a monthly work plan and necessary materials based on the workshop work program.
• Create a daily work plan based on the monthly plan and current condition.
• Submit a plan of necessary operational workshop funds every month.
• Create a machine maintenance schedule (SPM) based on machine working hours.
• Coordinate foremen, mechanics, and clerks to implement the daily work plan (RKH) toward targets.
• Coordinate and ensure needed labor and tools are available for all activities.
• Organize distribution of manpower, heavy equipment and vehicles to maximize repairs.
• Request materials for workshops and ensure timely and appropriate availability.
• Monitor repairs by third party technicians and ensure operable repairs.
• Ensure accuracy of spare parts repaired by third party and returns of used parts per policy.
