Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering.
• 2-5 years of welding and materials engineering experience.
• Experience in industrial equipment service and repair preferred.
• Professional certifications in welding are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead welding and repair process engineering activities, including WPS and PQR development.
• Define and optimize welding processes for turbines and compressors.
• Provide technical support to welders and floor technicians during repairs.
• Select welding techniques, equipment and consumables for repairs.
• Conduct material science and failure analyses to guide repairs.
• Oversee QA inspections and maintain repair documentation.
