Job summary

PT OSC Perkasa Indonesia is seeking a Welding Equipment Technician to prepare, set up, and operate welding and cutting machines in Batam. You will ensure equipment readiness for demonstrations and customer presentations while maintaining safety and procedures.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering with 3–4 years of relevant experience, solid knowledge of welding equipment components, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in welding equipment.
• Understanding major components of welding equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check welding equipment and tools.
• Set up and operate welding and cutting machines.
• Perform repair and maintenance of welding and cutting equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding equipment issues.
• Prepare equipment for customer presentations and demonstrations.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and according to procedures.
