Job summary

UOB Investment is seeking a Wealth Banking Relationship Manager Team Head in Medan to lead a high-performing team and drive wealth client acquisition, retention and revenue growth.

The role requires managing relationships with affluent clients, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving APE targets across branches in the city. Strong leadership, multilingual communication, and market knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
• WPPE and/or AAJI certification is required.
• Good communication in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Hokkien; Mandarin preferred.
• Strong leadership, sales and relationship management skills.
• Willing to be placed in different branches in the same city.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with Wealth Banking Clients.
• Acquire NTB clients and grow wealth portfolio.
• Generate fee income through investment, insurance, and wealth management products.
• Achieve Annualized Premium Equivalent (APE) targets.
• Conduct KYC processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and manage PEP Clients in accordance with bank policies.
• Lead and manage a team of Wealth Banking Relationship Managers to meet targets.
• Monitor Team Performance, AUM growth, client acquisition, revenue and activities.
• Provide guidance on client engagement, product solutions, and sales strategies.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, SOPs, SLA's and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular team performance reviews and report progress to management.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Management

• Manage and maintain relationships with existing Wealth Banking Clients


• Acquire New-to-Bank (NTB) clients and grow the wealth portfolio


• Generate fee income through investment, insurance, and wealth management products


• Achieve Annualized Premium Equivalent (APE) targets


• Conduct KYC processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements


• Monitor and manage PEP Clients in accordance with bank policies

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead and manage a team of Wealth Banking Relationship Managers to individual and team targets.


• Monitor Team Performance, AUM growth, client acquisition, revenue, and sales activities.


• Provide guidance to team members on client engagement, product solutions, and sales strategies.


• Ensure the team complies with bank policies, SOP's, SLA's, and applicable regulatory requirements.


• Conduct regular team performance reviews and report team progress to management.

Requirements
