Job summary

APP Group in Jakarta is seeking a Plant Operator to oversee water treatment processes at the Mojokerto site, with placement in Tjiwi Kimia Mills, Mojokerto. You will perform laboratory tests, monitor SCADA readings, adjust chemical feeds, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, data logging, and quick response to alarms to maintain plant performance and water quality. Training will cover systems and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Proficient understanding of water treatment processes and plant equipment.
Ability to perform laboratory tests and interpret results accurately.
Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.
Familiarity with SCADA systems and automated controls.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of pumps, valves, filters, and other equipment.
Monitor flow rates, pressures, chemical feeds, and tank levels using SCADA and manual readings.
Collect water samples at various stages of treatment and perform tests.
Regulate chemical feed rates based on test results and maintain safe operations.
Maintain logs of operations, test results, and maintenance activities.
Prepare reports for regulatory compliance and respond to alarms promptly.
