Job summary

Plan International Indonesia seeks a Program Communication Specialist to lead community outreach, SBCC campaigns, and branding compliance for the AIR SETARA WASH project. The role focuses on creating engaging narratives, coordinating media activities, and ensuring respect for safeguarding and GEDSI policies.

Based in Timor Tengah Selatan, the candidate will engage youth through the YAP and collaborate with partners to strengthen communication impact and transparency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, PR, development, or related field.
• 5+ years in communications and campaign management for multi-country programs.
• Excellent writing skills in English for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate climate-resilient WASH milestones into compelling, evidence-based narratives for communities, media and policy makers.
• Ensure branding and donor guidelines are followed in all publications and events.
• Design and implement multi-channel SBCC campaigns promoting hygiene practices.
• Capture and package program learning and assets for sub-national use.
• Lead the development and delivery of the program communication plan.
• Develop messages, audiences, channels and dissemination strategies.
