Job summary

Ajaib Group is seeking a VP, People Business Partner to partner with the CEO and senior leadership to translate business strategy into people strategy. You will drive organizational effectiveness, leadership development, HiPo retention, and employee engagement while building scalable people practices to support Ajaib's growth.

You will advise BU leaders, own employee relations with Legal and People Ops, and turn people data into business impact, enabling regional expansion and high-performance

Qualifications

• 12+ years of extensive HRBP leadership experience at VP/Head level in a high-growth tech/fintech company
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour law and employee relations
• Proven track record partnering with CEOs and senior executives on org design and workforce planning
• Demonstrated success building high-performing organizations and leadership pipelines

Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Partnership: align org design and workforce planning with business goals and regional expansion.
• Agree quarterly people plans with BU Leaders covering org, talent, risks, and hiring priorities.
• Handle Employee Relations cases in line with local labour law.
• Leadership Development: coach and develop leaders, build succession pipelines.
• HiPo Retention: identify and retain critical talent through targeted interventions.
• Employee Engagement & Trust: translate feedback into actions to boost engagement and performance.
• People Systems & Processes: improve PM, talent reviews, rewards, and scalable processes.
• People Analytics: use data to identify risks and measure impact of initiatives.
• HRBP Team Leadership: lead a high-performing HRBP team as trusted advisors.
