Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Information Technology sector within the financial services industry to hire a VP of Data based in Indonesia.

You will lead the enterprise data strategy, governance, and management across lending products and financial services operations, driving data management improvements to enable growth, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in lending financial services in Indonesia.
• Experience with products in multifinance, banking or fintech.
• Experience with multi-product environments and complex databases.
• Proven exposure to transformation initiatives (strategy, execution, post-evaluation).
• Strong track record of improving data management excellence.
• Hands-on end-to-end data management experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and drive major improvements in data management excellence.
• Lead end-to-end data management initiatives with governance and accessibility.
• Manage data capabilities across lending products in fintech/banking.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across countries to align data strategies.
• Support product strategy, development, and management through data leadership.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with OJK in product development.
• Contribute to transformation programmes through strategy and execution.
