Job description

Adecco is partnering with a globally high end fashion retail. As the brand continues to elevate its in-store experience and market presence, they are looking for an experienced Visual Merchandiser to drive the highest standards of visual merchandising across stores, blending creativity with commercial impact to strengthen brand presentation and support sustainable retail growth across all locations. This position will be placed in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standard of visual merchandising is consistently implemented in-store, balancing creativity with the store's business needs in line with brand VM guidelines. This role works closely with the regional team, Store Management team, and store-level VM staff to manage proper zoning, product rotation, and stock availability for VM displays, while also partnering with other departments such as Client Development and PR to support client and corporate events and presentations. The role additionally oversees third-party contractors involved in VM projects and is responsible for managing and allocating the VM budget.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Rotation

• Review and validate the store rotation plan and schedule, ensuring all VM team members are aware of the rotation guidelines.
• Work together with the Store Manager to validate the rotation planogram prepared by the stores.
• Support store-level VM staff with interior VM changes and window changes on a regular basis, according to the VM schedule.
• Update all team members on new VM rotations (inspirations, product highlights, store tours, etc.).
• Support the flagship store during window and in-store display rotations, with a regular weekly on-site presence for store rotation.

Training & Communication

• Prepare and conduct VM training and coaching sessions.
• Identify and develop VM staff for succession planning.
• Share best practices within the team and across other stores.

Third-Party Coordination

• Oversee local production arrangements and liaise with logistics for the shipment of window display props.
• Source visual merchandising props locally and supervise local production contractors.
• Supervise window installations.

Reporting & Administration

• Consolidate VM photos and documentation of best practices.
• Handle all administrative work related to VM, including window and props orders and documentation of props destruction.

General Support

• Ensure VM guidelines are executed and that displays remain neat and clean at all times.
• Provide feedback to the Manager on Duty regarding VM standards and business needs.
• Ensure general cleanliness of the store, interior and exterior, including presentation of supporting elements such as flowers, cushions, books, etc.
• University graduate with 5+ years of relevant work experience in a retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with high sensitivity to fashion and trends.
• Strong computer skills, with high proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, self-motivated team player who is willing to learn.
• Highly adaptable and flexible in accepting new ideas and procedures.
