Job summary

3Mongkis in Jakarta seeks a skilled Visual Merchandiser to develop and execute brand-aligned VM concepts for seasonal campaigns and store events.

You will plan window displays, mannequin styling, product displays, and store zoning while maintaining consistent VM guidelines across locations. The role requires strong collaboration with Retail, Marketing, Merchandising and Store teams, plus a robust portfolio and 3–5 years in fashion retail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser in fashion retail.
• Relevant degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Visual Communication Design (DKV), Fashion Design, Marketing or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute VM concepts aligned with brand identity, seasonal campaigns, and marketing.
• Plan and implement window displays, mannequin styling, product displays, store zoning, and focal points.
• Ensure product placement and store layout create an engaging customer journey and support commercial objectives.
• Develop and maintain VM guidelines and ensure consistent implementation across stores.
• Conduct store visits and visual audits to monitor VM standards and execution.
• Collaborate with Retail, Marketing, Merchandising, and Store Teams to align visuals with business priorities.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for VM production and installation.
• Monitor trends to improve store presentation and evaluate VM effectiveness with sales data.
• Prepare VM and store visit reports and photo documentation.
• Support new store openings, renovations, events, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.

Job description

Develop and execute Visual Merchandising concepts aligned with brand identity, seasonal collections, and marketing campaigns.

Plan and implement window displays, mannequin styling, product displays, store zoning, and focal points.

Ensure product placement and store layout create an engaging customer journey and support commercial objectives.

Develop and maintain VM guidelines and ensure consistent implementation across stores.

Conduct regular store visits and visual audits to monitor VM standards and execution.

Work closely with Retail, Marketing, Merchandising, and Store Teams to align visual presentation with business priorities.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for VM production and installation.

Monitor new trends in fashion, retail, design, and consumer behavior to continuously improve store presentation.

Evaluate the effectiveness of VM execution and provide recommendations based on sales performance and store conditions.

Prepare VM reports, store visit reports, and photo documentation.

Support new store openings, store renovations, events, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser, preferably within fashion retail.

Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Visual Communication Design (DKV), Fashion Design, Marketing, or related fields.

Strong understanding of fashion styling, color, composition, space planning, lighting, and product presentation.

Strong creative and aesthetic sense with excellent attention to detail.

Good understanding of retail trends, customer journey, and commercial merchandising.

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; SketchUp or other 3D visualization tools would be an advantage.

Strong communication, coordination, and project management skills.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Able to work with deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Willing to conduct store visits and business travel when required.

Strong portfolio of Visual Merchandising projects is required.
