Job summary

JAC Recruitment is seeking a Vice Director - Finance, Accounting & Tax to lead the corporate financial strategy for a national sports and lifestyle organization in Surabaya. You will partner with the president director and board to drive governance, capital allocation, and strategic decision making.

The role requires strong leadership in finance transformation, ERP implementation, and cross‑functional collaboration across Tax, Accounting and FP&A.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or professional accounting/finance qualifications (CPA/CA/CFA/CMA) preferred.
• 18+ years in finance, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record in corporate financial strategy, capital allocation and planning.
• Experience leading large finance organisations incl. FP&A, Tax, Audit and Internal Control.
• Exposure to multi‑business-unit operations and ERP implementations.

• Lead capital allocation and investment strategy, optimising return on investment and funding decisions


• Ensure enterprise financial governance is aligned with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), tax regulations, and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles


• Direct enterprise risk management, safeguarding liquidity and financial continuity


• Drive corporate financial performance, enhancing profitability and efficiency


• Build strategic partnerships with banks, investors, regulators, and auditors


• Lead finance transformation, modernising systems and digital capabilities


• Develop executive finance leadership, fostering succession planning and a high-performance culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master of Business Administration, Master of Finance, CPA, CA, CFA, or CMA qualification is highly preferred


• At least 18 years of experience in finance, accounting, and tax, including at least 8 years in senior leadership roles such as general manager, finance director, chief financial officer, or an equivalent position


• Proven track record in corporate financial strategy, capital allocation, and business planning


• Experience leading complex finance organisations with functions such as Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Tax, Audit, and Internal Control


• Strong exposure to multi-business-unit operations or companies with high-volume transactions


• Hands-on experience in finance transformation, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation, and corporate restructuring or mergers and acquisitions
