Job summary

HyreWise is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance function in Indonesia. This senior role shapes financial strategy, governance and long‑term sustainability, reporting to the CEO and board.

You will oversee FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, reporting and controls; drive budgeting and forecasting; evaluate investments; and manage relationships with auditors, banks and regulators. Requires 15+ years in large multinational firms and professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in large multinational organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent advantageous; Big 4 audit training preferred.
• Strong grounding in financial reporting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, controls and financial management.
• Fluency in English and Indonesian Bahasa is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, controlling and financial planning functions.
• Provide strategic financial advice to CEO, Board and senior leadership.
• Oversee budgeting, planning and forecasting cycles; ensure financial discipline.
• Drive monthly and quarterly performance reviews with analysis of risk and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations and group reporting requirements.
• Evaluate major investments and business opportunities from a financial perspective.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, tax authorities, investors, and other financial institutions.

Job description

Our client is a well-established multinational organization with a significant presence in Indonesia. As part of its continued growth and development, the company is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its senior leadership team

This is a strategic leadership position with overall responsibility for the company's financial strategy, performance, governance, and long-term financial sustainability

About the Chief Financial Officer position:

• Lead all core finance functions, including FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, controlling, and financial planning
• Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO, Board, and senior leadership team, supporting key commercial and operational decisions
• Lead the annual budgeting, business planning, and forecasting processes, ensuring robust financial discipline and accountability
• Drive monthly and quarterly financial performance reviews, providing clear analysis of business performance, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with applicable Indonesian regulations, accounting standards, and Group reporting requirements
• Evaluate major investments, acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and business opportunities from a financial and commercial perspective
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, tax authorities, investors, and other financial institutions as appropriate

The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, Board, regional leadership, and other senior stakeholders, providing insight and strategic guidance to support business growth

Skills and experience needed:

• An established finance leader with a strong track record in large, complex multinational organizations. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent would be advantageous
• Big 4 audit training is preferred
• Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, controls, and financial management
• Strong English and Indonesian Bahasa communication skills are essential
