Job summary

PT TEMAS Tbk seeks a diligent vessel audit professional to conduct inspections and internal audits, ensuring adherence to ISM/ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, and related regulations. You will review certificates, prepare reports, and drive corrective actions across the fleet.

The role requires 1–2 years in maritime operations or auditing, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel for vessel visits. English proficiency is essential for documentation and coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in maritime/shipping industry, preferably in vessel operations, inspection, safety, or auditing.
• Knowledge of ISM Code, ISPS Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC 2006, and applicable maritime regulations.
• Experience or certification in ISM/ISPS Internal Auditor preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to conduct vessel visits and travel when required.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vessel inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies, SMS, and applicable maritime regulations.
• Monitor implementation of safety, security, environmental, and operational procedures onboard vessels.
• Review vessel documents, certificates, records, and operational activities to identify non-conformities.
• Prepare audit reports and document findings, observations, and recommendations for improvement.
• Follow up on corrective actions and monitor the closure of audit findings.
• Support vessel readiness for external inspections, audits, and certification requirements.
• Coordinate with vessel crews and relevant departments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
