Job summary

Cox Motor Group is seeking a Motor Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester for our Kendal Honda/Chery dealership. You will service and repair vehicles to high standards, diagnose faults, and perform road tests.

The role is based in Kendal with a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings on rota with overtime. You should hold Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent, have previous technician experience, and preferably an MOT licence and a clean driving licence.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential.
• MOT licence preferable.
• Clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Detect and diagnose vehicle faults and determine required work.
• Perform servicing, repairs and road tests to ensure quality work.
• Keep vehicle parts and tools stored and handled correctly.
• Provide excellent customer service at Kendal Honda/Chery dealership.
