Alchemy Uluwatu is a vibrant vegan restaurant seeking a passionate Cook to join our kitchen team in Bali. You will prepare and cook plant-based dishes, maintain quality, and assist with mise en place for service.

We value teamwork, food safety, and efficient use of ingredients in a fast-paced environment. Experience with vegan cuisine is a plus, and on-site work with competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as Cook, Commis, Demi Chef, or similar kitchen position.
• Experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Experience with vegan, vegetarian, or plant-based cuisine is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and basic cooking techniques.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook vegan and plant-based dishes according to recipes and company standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared with consistent quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Prepare ingredients and complete mise en place before service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Properly store and label ingredients and monitor food freshness.
• Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Follow kitchen SOPs and instructions from the Chef/Senior Kitchen team.
• Assist with receiving and checking the quality of ingredients when required.
• Support other kitchen duties as needed.
