Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Batam, Indonesia, is seeking an experienced value chain engineer to manage the hydraulic mining shovel supply chain and drive improvements across logistics, operations, and product engineering.

You will lead staffing, development, and performance programs for engineering teams; design end-to-end value chain processes focused on supply assurance, cost, and quality; and guide risk management for disruptions.

• Managing high-impact, long duration value chain improvement initiatives and projects; ensuring engineering plan and product quality.
• Managing risk and recovery related to value chain disruptions.
• Management of Batam facility Pre-Delivery Audit (PDA) inspection team and process.
