Job summary

ScaleOcean in Jakarta is seeking a thoughtful UX Researcher to gather customer insights and translate them into action. You will conduct user interviews, surveys, and observations to inform product decisions and validate ideas.

You will collaborate with UI/UX Designers and product teams, maintain research artifacts, update personas and journey maps, and help shape the product’s long-term vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information System, Informatics, HCI, or related field.
• Experience conducting user research for digital products (web/mobile).
• Ability to plan, conduct, and synthesize UX research activities.
• Support basic UX design tasks when needed (wireframes, simple flows, prototypes).
• Strong ability to gather insights through surveys and observation.

Responsibilities

• Collect and synthesize insights into clear documentation.
• Collaborate with UI/UX Designers and product teams to refine hypotheses and user problems.
• Create simple flows or low-fidelity wireframes to support concept testing.
• Assist in validating early ideas with users through quick prototyping.
• Maintain and organize research documentation for ongoing projects.
• Update personas, journey maps, and research artifacts with new insights.
