Freeport McMoRan Inc. is seeking a Technical Expert in Underground Ventilation based in Papua, Indonesia.

The role requires leading planning, implementation, and maintenance of ventilation systems in an underground mine, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and efficiency. The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience, fluency in English, and a willingness to learn Bahasa Indonesia.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mining, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree in engineering (Mining, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical) preferred.
Fluent in English (oral and written); willing to learn Bahasa Indonesia.

Mansioni

Plan, implement, and maintain underground mine ventilation systems.
Develop medium- and long-term ventilation plans, including calculations for shafts and fans.
Lead or co-lead air quality initiatives (DPM and dust reduction).
Build and calibrate ventilation models using Ventsim; validate with field data.
Prepare AFEs for capital projects with cost control and compliance.
