Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Superintendent - UG Maintenance to lead the safe maintenance and repair of underground drill and utility equipment at Freeport, Indonesia. You will supervise 3 General Foremen and over 130 technicians, drive reliability improvements, and ensure compliance with OH&S and OEM standards.

In this role you will plan modifications, mentor crews, import knowledge to prevent downtime, and report on performance and warranty issues to the project management team.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in mechanical/electrical discipline with 10+ years' post-trade experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and ability to guide large multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe maintenance and repair of UG Drill & Utility equipment to maximize production.
• Supervise 3 General Foreman and over 130 technicians.
• Plan modifications and safety updates per OEM requirements.
• Ensure safe working environment and adherence to OH&S policies.
• Provide technical guidance and fault diagnosis.
