Job summary

PT Freeport Indonesia Inc. is seeking a Geo Engineering - Eng., UG Hydrology professional to perform and supervise underground mine hydrology activities.

The role focuses on collecting high-quality data, timely reporting, and QA/QC of hydrology information. Responsibilities include supervising hydrogeology programs, piezometer drilling, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure safety, budget control, and compliance with environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Geological, Hydrology, Hydrogeology, or Civil Eng. with underground mining relevance
• 2–5 years in mining/hydrology roles; field data collection and underground exposure desired
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) and solid computing skills

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise underground hydrology data collection and reporting
• QA/QC of hydrology data; update databases and ensure timely delivery
• Supervise piezometer drilling/installation and related programs
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure safety, environment, and budget compliance
• Provide training and development support for subordinates and monitor performance
