Job summary

ShipSaving is seeking a full-time UI/UX Designer II to drive user-centered design across web and mobile products. You will conduct user research, build personas and journey maps, and collaborate with leadership to align e-commerce strategies with ShipSaving’s digital properties.

You will create concepts, prototypes and layouts, iterating based on user feedback and analytics. Candidates should have a Master’s in a relevant field and strong proficiency with Figma, Sketch, InVision, Photoshop and

• Create fully responsive, mobile-first visual design mockups.

Job description

We are seeking a full-time UI/UX Designer II to perform below job duties:

Job Description

• Develop a good understanding of ShipSaving’s customers and goals.
• Conduct user research to develop persona, user flow and journey maps to better understand user base and what the users expect from our software products including website applications or mobile apps.
• Collaborate with company management to develop e-commerce strategies and to integrate these strategies with Web sites.
• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
• Rapidly create and iterate prototypes, process flows, information architecture, wireframes, and graphic design interface.
• Develop and communicate design alternatives through visual presentations, journeys, experience maps, concept maps, and wireframes.
• Use computer design and visual software, print materials, or other mediums to generate images and graphics.
• Reproduce and manipulate prepress graphics, illustrations, design, and layout works for various platforms.
• Create roadmaps, and design architectures based on functionality needs.
• Implement and follow graphic guides on the execution of typography, imagery, graphics, icons, animation and video across print and digital media.
• Create fully responsive, mobile-first visual design mockups that effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
• Help increase the efficiency of our web development team by providing clean designs.
• Update corresponding assets and web pages across platforms with mobile devices as a priority.
• Identify new trends to enhance the product and continually drive design language.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree in Web Design & New Media, or Computer Science.
• Strong understanding of project life cycle, responsive design, up-to-date UI/UX best practices.
• Familiar with Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Excellent design, analytical, and communication skills.

Salary: $78,250 per year
