Job summary

ShipSaving is seeking a full-time UI/UX Designer II to drive user-centered design across web and mobile products. You will conduct user research, build personas and journey maps, and collaborate with leadership to align e-commerce strategies with ShipSaving’s digital properties.

You will create concepts, prototypes and layouts, iterating based on user feedback and analytics. Candidates should have a Master’s in a relevant field and strong proficiency with Figma, Sketch, InVision, Photoshop and

• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and responsive design.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of ShipSaving’s customers and goals.
• Conduct user research to develop personas, flows and journey maps.
• Collaborate with management to align e-commerce strategies with web properties.
• Create designs, concepts and layouts based on layout principles and aesthetics.
• Prototype rapidly: wireframes, information architecture, and interactions.
• Communicate design alternatives with visuals and journey maps.
• Produce assets for print and digital media across platforms.
• Develop roadmaps and architectures based on functionality needs.
• Ensure typography, imagery and icons follow guidelines across media.
• Create fully responsive, mobile-first visual design mockups.
• Support web development with clean, ready-to-use designs.
