Job summary

Golden Agri Resources in Jakarta is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to plan, coordinate, and optimize the shipping of goods from the warehouse, ensuring on-time deliveries in line with SLAs.

You will monitor inventory across warehouses, liaise with transporters and finance for invoicing, generate reports, and enforce safety and PPE guidelines while maintaining data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Diploma III (D3) in any major is required.
• Knowledge of transportation management is essential.
• Understanding of supply chain and GMP is preferred.
• Experience with Transport Management System (TMS) and SAP/NAV is desired.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate goods delivery from the warehouse to ensure timely shipments and SLAs.
• Determine freight forwarders and routes to optimize delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels across all warehouses and maintain data accuracy.
• Ensure POD Return documents are sent/received for smooth billing.
• Coordinate with transporters and finance for invoicing aligned with SLAs.
• Generate periodic reports on delivery and returns for data accuracy.
• Provide transporter performance reports to procurement.
• Supervise team attendance and enforce safety/PPE per SOPs.

Planning, coordinating, and evaluating transportation needs and finished goods shipping cost analysis to meet SLAs and ensure optimal goods delivery runs on time, effectively, and efficiently

Job Description

• Coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the delivery of goods from the warehouse, including determining freight forwarders and routes, to ensure timely and efficient shipments, and that goods are received by every customer in accordance with predetermined SLAs.
• Gathering information on inventory levels across all warehouse locations (including Toll Out) and analyzing the quantity and type of goods in the warehouse to control data accuracy and existing inventory levels.
• Ensuring original proof of delivery return documents (POD Return) are sent by transporters and received by the Sales Admin (Finance) team to ensure smooth billing processes in accordance with SLAs established by the company.
• Coordinating with transporters and the company's finance team for the shipping service invoicing process to align with predetermined SLAs.
• Generating periodic reports related to the delivery of goods and/or returns to ensure data accuracy and proper documentation.
• Providing periodic performance evaluation reports on transporters and submitting them to the procurement team.
• Monitoring human resource requirements within the team, covering attendance and work supervision in accordance with applicable SOPs.
• Coordinating and monitoring the cleanliness and neatness of material storage in the warehouse to ensure material quality is maintained and easily accessible when needed, as well as enforcing safety protocols and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma III (D3) in any major.
• Possess knowledge related to transportation management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Supervisor position within the relevant field from a similar industry.
• Knowledgeable in supply chain and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Familiar with Transport Management System (TMS) and its implementation.
• Understanding and capable of implementing SAP/NAV systems.
• Proficient in operating Ms. Office.
