Job summary

HE Space is seeking a qualified Education professional to support ESA in defining operating models for the PM&C Academy. The role focuses on adult learning, instructional design, and the development of academy frameworks in a multinational setting.

You will work on defining multiple operating models, determine training delivery formats (onsite, online, hybrid), and coordinate across deployment waves with ESA stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Masters in Education or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in adult learning methodologies and instructional design.
• Experience in design, development and implementation of project management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; another European language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support ESA in defining and selecting the operating model for the PM&C Academy.
• Assist with implementing learning levels (Awareness, Foundation, Advanced) considering organisational and logistical factors.
• Analyze the Academy objectives, governance, learning architecture and roadmap.
• Assess existing ESA learning initiatives and supporting infrastructure.
• Develop 2–3 alternative operating models for the PM&C Academy and document their characteristics.
• Define training scheduling, roles, delivery formats (onsite, online, hybrid) and enrolment mechanisms.
• Identify advantages, risks and opportunities of each model and estimate stakeholder effort.
• Create objective criteria for evaluating alternatives and support ESA during selection.
• Coordinate deployment waves and maintain training schedules and delivery plans.
• Manage participant registration, communications, and logistics for training events.

Job Description

As part of the team you will have the following responsibilities:

• Support ESA in completing the definition and final selection of the most appropriate operating model for the PM&C Academy;
• Support the implementation of approaches for the Awareness, Foundation, and Advanced learning levels, taking into account organisational, operational, logistical and resource considerations;
• Analyse the Academy objectives, governance framework, learning architecture and implementation roadmap established by ESA;
• Assess existing ESA learning and capability-development initiatives, relevant organisational practices, and available supporting infrastructure;
• Develop and document a minimum of two and up to three alternative operating models for the implementation and operation of the PM&C Academy;
• For each model, define and assess, as applicable:
• Training scheduling principles and delivery cadence; Delivery approach for Awareness, Foundation, and Advanced training levels;
• Roles and responsibilities of the involved stakeholders;
• Use of on-site, online and hybrid learning formats;
• Participant enrolment and administration mechanisms;

• Identify, document and assess the advantages, disadvantages, risks and opportunities associated with each model;
• Estimate the effort required from ESA and other stakeholders for each proposed model, including workforce implications, organisational impacts and operational support requirements;
• Develop objective comparison criteria enabling ESA to evaluate the proposed alternatives and perform trade-offs between the identified options;
• Support ESA during the evaluation and selection process and document the selected delivery model and associated implementation approach;
• Support the planning and coordination of Academy implementation activities across the different deployment waves;
• Prepare and maintain the Academy training schedule and associated delivery plans;
• Manage participant registration and enrolment processes;
• Coordinate communications with participants, trainers and stakeholders in preparation for training events;
• Support the organisation of launch and go-live activities for the different Academy deployment waves;
• Coordinate training logistics for: On-site training sessions;
• Online training sessions;
• Hybrid learning activities;
• Coordinate the deployment and availability of training resources, facilities and tools;

• Interface with ESA stakeholders, trainers and subject-matter experts to ensure readiness for training delivery;
• Support the collection and consolidation of attendance data and training participation metrics;
• Support monitoring and evaluation activities associated with Academy deployment.

Qualifications
