Job summary

PT Pan Brothers, Tbk in Central Java is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee technical operations across manufacturing processes, lead technical teams, and implement best practices to sustain high quality and efficiency.

You will troubleshoot complex challenges, drive lean initiatives, manage budgets, and mentor staff, aligning with safety and environmental standards while partnering with production to optimise performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a technical management or supervisory role in manufacturing/textile.
• Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication in Indonesian and English; able to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily technical operations and supervise technical staff to ensure optimal performance and compliance with standards.
• Develop and implement technical processes, procedures, and SOPs to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and conduct regular inspections.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime and losses.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimise manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Provide technical training and mentoring to team members to enhance skills.
• Prepare technical reports, performance metrics, and recommendations for senior management.
• Manage technical budgets and control costs related to maintenance and repairs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing programmes.
• Liaise with equipment suppliers/vendors for timely support and resolutions.
