British American Tobacco Indonesia is seeking a Territory Representative to manage stock, coordinate distributor operations, and drive sales in Balikpapan. You will support PO validation, control promotion costs, and supervise field activities to ensure program execution and data capture.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in relevant sales/distribution, strong communication, and collaboration skills, and is willing to be based in Balikpapan.

• Bachelor’s degree required with problem solving, leadership and communication skills.
• 2 years in relevant sales/distribution role or equivalent.
• Experience in Marketing/Sales or related function preferred.
• Exposure to multinational and cross-functional environments is a plus.
• Strong collaboration, relationship-building and influence abilities.
• Willing to be based in Balikpapan.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accurate stock management at depots/distributors through regular audits.
• Coordinate governance of distributor operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Support distributor processes including PO validation and promotion cost control.
• Drive distributor territory development to boost productivity and sales.
• Meet volume and SKU targets per monthly territory plan.
• Conduct market visits to communicate programs, deploy POSM/merchandising and monitor activity.
• Engage with retail outlets to activate programs and collect data.
• Support activation of retail programs and product trials.

British American Tobacco Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for a Territory Representative in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Indonesia

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure accurate stock management at depots/distributors through regular audits, maintaining alignment between physical stock and system records.
• Coordinate and optimize governance of distributor operations, ensuring compliance with policies, critical metrics, and cycle instructions.
• Support distributor operational processes, including PO validation, promotion cost control, and supervising field force performance through join calls and control calls.
• Drive business development in distributor areas by enhancing productivity, boosting sales, and applying effective territory management strategies.
• Achieve 100% of volume and SKU mix targets in line with monthly territory plans.
• Conduct market visits (Wholesale, KA, Vapestore, HoReCa, Retail) to communicate programs, deploy POSM/merchandising, monitor competitor activities, and ensure product availability.
• Engage with retail outlets and communities to activate programs, capture insights, and submit proof of control and customer data.
• Achieve 100% fulfillment of critical metric for cycle activities and support activation of retail programs, including encouraging outstanding product trials.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s Degree with Problem Identification and Solving, Leadership, Negotiation, Sales & Distribution, Communication Skill.
• 2 years in relevant experience, Understand New Category market (Vapour, THP, etc.)
• Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor) specializing in Marketing/Sales or equivalent.
• Exposure to a multi-national and cross-functional work environment is a plus.
• Ability to collaboration and work optimally through relationships, persuasion, and influence.
• Having fair commercial competence and sense of deep personal responsibility for the organization's success
• Willing to be placed in Balikpapan as base
