Qualifications

• 8+ years in system integration roles with 3+ years in telecom BSS/OSS integrations.
• Deep expertise in Apache Kafka or Google Pub/Sub.
• Strong API design and development experience (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and API gateways (Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway).
• Hands-on with telecom systems: IN/charging, mediation/CDR processing, SMSC, USSD, HLR/HSS, CRM, and billing.
• Proficient in Java, Python, or Node.js for integration services and transformations.
• Experienced with cloud-native patterns, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of data serialization formats (Avro, JSON Schema, Protobuf) and schema evolution.
• Experience with Adobe AEP APIs and streaming ingestion is a strong plus.
• Understanding of telecom data models, CDR formats, and mediation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration architecture connecting BSS/OSS systems (IN, mediation, billing, CRM, subscriber DB, SMSC, USSD) with Adobe AEP.
• Build and manage real-time and batch ingestion pipelines using Apache Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, REST/SOAP APIs, and the AEP Streaming Connector.
• Define event schemas and transformation logic for telecom events (CDRs, recharges, balance queries, bundle activations, location updates) into AEP XDM format.
• Implement outbound integrations from AEP/AJO to execution channels: SMSC, USSD gateway, push, IVR, and email platforms.
• Develop and maintain API specifications with security (OAuth 2.0, mTLS, API keys) and rate limiting.
• Ensure mediation data is formatted, de-duplicated, and enriched before ingestion.
• Implement error handling, retries, dead-letter queues, and monitoring/alerting across all pipelines.
• Run performance testing and capacity planning to handle peak traffic windows.
• Collaborate on data flow and integration design documents and support L3 troubleshooting.
