Job summary

PT Saritama Food Processing is seeking an Engineering Technician to provide maintenance and technical support across all machinery, production equipment, and technical installations, including electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing. You will perform routine inspections and help minimise downtime.

This role requires documenting usage, repair histories, and energy consumption; supporting new installations, commissioning, and energy-saving improvements; and ensuring compliance with K3/HSE standards

Qualifications

• Ability to perform occupational health and safety inspections and system balance checks.
• Capability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safe work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and care on all machinery, operational equipment, and technical installations according to established schedules
• Identify, analyse, and repair technical damage or disruptions to machinery, facilities, and operational systems quickly and accurately to minimise downtime
• Record daily machine usage logs, repair history, and energy/fuel consumption
• Prepare periodic reports on equipment condition, technical issues, and repair actions taken to the Engineering Supervisor or Manager
• Ensure all equipment and work systems meet occupational health and safety (K3/HSE) standards
• Follow safe work procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing duties
• Monitor availability of spare parts, tools, and technical materials needed for repairs
• Submit requests for procurement of spare parts or damaged machine components
• Support installation, testing (commissioning), or modification of new machinery and facilities
• Provide technical suggestions or input to improve operational efficiency and energy savings
