Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in technology, R&D, or innovation.
• Experience in technology research, R&D, prototyping, or solution development.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML, Blockchain, Data Platform, Core Systems, or Cloud-native Architecture.
• Experience with technology assessments, feasibility studies, and PoC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable with experimentation and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for Technology Research & Innovation Officer to support and drive technology research and innovation initiatives within the organization.

In this role, you will explore emerging technologies, evaluate their potential applications, and develop prototypes and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Business teams. You will help identify promising technologies and opportunities that can be further developed into innovative solutions and MVPs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technology research and contribute to R&D and technology innovation roadmaps.
• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to business needs, such as AI/ML, Blockchain & Smart Contract, Data Platform, Core Systems, and Cloud-native Architecture.
• Conduct technology assessments, feasibility studies, and Proof of Concept (PoC) to evaluate the potential adoption of new technologies.
• Develop prototypes and experiments to validate technology concepts and potential solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to identify and explore technology-driven opportunities and support their development from concept to prototype and MVP.
• Coordinate and contribute to R&D and technology innovation projects from planning through execution.
• Monitor global technology trends and identify potential technologies, solutions, and opportunities relevant to the company's business.
• Collaborate with research institutions, technology communities, and external technology partners to support technology exploration and innovation initiatives.
• Document research findings, technology assessments, PoC results, and recommendations, and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in technology, R&D, technology development, innovation, or related areas.
• Experience in technology research, R&D, technology assessment, prototyping, or solution development.
• Good understanding of current and emerging technologies, particularly in areas such as AI/ML, Blockchain & Smart Contract, Data Platform, Core Systems, or Cloud-native Architecture.
• Experience conducting technology assessments, feasibility studies, and Proof of Concept (PoC).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in an environment that requires experimentation, exploration, and continuous learning.
