Job summary

PT Sibelco Lautan Minerals in Cikarang is seeking a Technician Maintenance (Electrical) to maintain, renew, or expand electrical and control installations, spanning low, medium, and high voltage.

You will perform preventive maintenance, interpret drawings and procedures, update manuals and schematics, support production shutdowns, and ensure safety per life-saving rules, PPE usage, SOPs, and LOTOTO. Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and control installations (low, medium, and high voltage) following instruction lists to optimize availability and capacity.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including switching power cables on and off, and preventive or corrective replacement/repair of parts.
• Renew and improve electrical installations, including controls, and integrate or renew switchgear.
• Follow up technical properties of installations and correctly interpret processes, drawings, electrical diagrams, and procedures.
• Update electrical files (manuals, schematics, etc.) in the IT system and maintain documentation.
• Signal malfunctions or improvements, and repair breakdowns or malfunctioning of electrical installations and control systems. Analyze causes by measuring voltage/current, insulation values, and use correct tools, spare parts, and drawings.
• Prepare maintenance work and perform administration using warehouse items. Escalate stock shortages, problems relating to high voltage, or irregularities to the supervisor or colleagues.
• Provide input to improve plant operations, discuss solutions with the person in charge, and help prevent future problems.
• Ensure safety by applying Sibelco’s life‑saving rules, LOTOTO principle, PPE usage, LMRA, work permits, SOPs, and safety instructions.
• Communicate with the control room or other departments during work and report any safety problems.
• Operate fire alarms.
• Provide internal and external support, assist operators with production shutdowns, and help external electricians install new machines, perform connections, adjust machines, and escort external firms around the company premises.
