Job summary

WACKER is seeking an experienced Technical Service Manager with strong formulation expertise in industrial coatings and construction chemicals to drive technical activities in Southeast Asia. You will lead formulation development, provide expert technical support, and manage local/global projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

BSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field.
8+ years experience in industrial coatings, construction chemicals, paint formulation or building materials.
Strong leadership, mentoring and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot formulations for coatings and construction chemicals.
Lead internal benchmarking studies and drive external customer projects regionally.
Provide expert formulation recommendations and performance-based solutions.
Lead customer-facing technical support and present at regional events.
Drive local and global projects in product development and marketing.
Oversee lab methods, safety, and documentation; mentor junior staff.
