As a Technical Quality Assurance (QA) Intern at ScaleOcean, you will assist in ensuring the quality and functionality of our ERP software. You will work closely with the QA team to conduct manual and automated tests, identify bugs, and ensure the ERP system meets both client and technical requirements. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in testing methodologies, software quality, and ERP system validation, as well as learn best practices for maintaining software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Job Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Basic understanding of software testing and QA principles.

Familiarity with bug tracking and testing tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Good communication skills for documenting test results and collaborating with teams.

Key Qualifications

Familiarity with manual and automated testing methods.

Basic knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.

Strong analytical skills to identify, document, and report software issues.

Knowledge of ERP systems or business software is a plus.

Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.

Daily Responsibilities

Assist in writing and executing test cases for ERP applications.

Conduct manual testing to find defects and report issues.

Help in setting up automated testing frameworks (if applicable).

Document testing processes, results, and issues found during testing.

Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.

Monthly Responsibilities

Participate in sprint planning and review sessions with the development team.

Assist in preparing test reports and reviewing testing metrics.

Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful implementation of testing protocols.

Contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies based on findings.

Learn and explore new testing tools and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
