Job summary

Lautan Air Indonesia seeks a Chemical Engineer with at least 3 years' experience in power plants and water/wastewater systems to lead routine maintenance and optimize performance.

You will perform plant monitoring, data analysis, and report to system owner, and work with engineering team on improvements. Willing to be placed in Kalimantan; strong leadership and time management required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with GPA 3.00 or higher.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with Power Plants and water/wastewater systems.
• Hands-on RO/EDI/CIP and media replacement experience.
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment, SWRO, BWRO, and refineries.
• Experience with online monitoring equipment and leading a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordination, planning, and execution of routine maintenance and operational tasks for water/wastewater treatment equipment and systems.
• Monitor plant performance, conduct water quality checks, analyze data trends, and submit detailed reports to the system owner.
• Provide system improvement and modification solutions to customers in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Conduct routine visits to existing customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (GPA minimum 3.00).
• At least 3 years of working experience with Power Plants, Water & Wastewater Treatment systems, and chemicals.
• Hands-on experience with RO membrane replacement, RO & EDI CIP cleaning, MMF, ACF, and Softener Media Replacement.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment, wastewater treatment, SWRO, BWRO, high-pressure boilers (Power Plant), cooling towers, and palm oil refineries.
• Experience with online monitoring equipment.
• Proven ability to work in and lead a team.
• Quick response time and excellent time management skills.
• Willing to be placed in Kalimantan
