Job summary

Lautan Air Indonesia is seeking a Chemical Engineer with 3+ years in water and wastewater treatment to lead maintenance and optimization efforts at our Bandung operations. You will coordinate tasks, monitor performance, and collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements for RO systems and related equipment.

The role requires hands-on experience with RO/EDI processes, strong time management, and the ability to lead a field team across water facilities in Bandung region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with GPA 3.0+.
• Minimum 3 years in power plants and water/wastewater treatment.
• Hands-on RO membrane replacement and CIP cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of SWRO/BWRO, high-pressure boilers, cooling towers, and palm oil refineries.
• Experience with online monitoring equipment.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordination, planning, and execution of routine maintenance and operational tasks for water/wastewater treatment equipment and systems.
• Monitor plant performance, conduct water quality checks, analyze data trends, and submit detailed reports to the system owner.
• Provide system improvement and modification solutions to customers in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Conduct routine visits to existing customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (GPA minimum 3.00).
• At least 3 years of working experience with Power Plants, Water & Wastewater Treatment systems, and chemicals.
• Hands‑on experience with RO membrane replacement, RO & EDI CIP cleaning, MMF, ACF, and Softener Media Replacement.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment, wastewater treatment, SWRO, BWRO, high‑pressure boilers (Power Plant), cooling towers, and palm oil refineries.
• Experience with online monitoring equipment.
• Proven ability to work in and lead a team.
• Quick response time and excellent time management skills.
