About the role

As a Technical Assistant at PT Esmalglass Indonesia, you will be a key member of the Chemical Engineering team, supporting the design, development and implementation of innovative solutions for the company's diverse portfolio of products. In this full‑time position, you will be based in South Cikarang, West Java, and Mojokerto, East Java, contributing to the company's strategic objectives and driving excellence in engineering within the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing technical support and assistance to the team
• Conducting research, analysis and testing to identify opportunities for process improvements and new product development
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design and implement engineering solutions
• Documenting and reporting on project progress, outcomes and recommendations
• Staying up‑to‑date with industry trends, regulations and best practices

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Science, Materials Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering
• Good command of English both verbal and written
• Prefer experience in the ceramic industry; otherwise minimum 2 years in another field
• Prefer experience in technical support, sales, R&D or QC
• Skill in Adobe Photoshop is an advantage
• Holding a Class A driving licence
• Mature and highly confident
