Job summary

PT. Softex Indonesia seeks a contract IT integration specialist to lead the seamless transition from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA. You will map dependencies, coordinate between SAP teams and local app owners, and support cutover activities with a focus on data flow and security.

The role requires ERP project exposure, API/middleware knowledge, and strong documentation skills. The position is located in BSD, South Tangerang and is a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Exposure to ERP projects (IFS or SAP) and data migrations.
• Foundational knowledge of API structure, middleware concepts, and IT infrastructure (networks/firewalls).
• Proficiency in project tracking tools and documentation software to manage integration maps and runbooks.
• Ability to identify technical bottlenecks in application connectivity and propose solutions.
• Strong ability to bridge communication between developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an inventory of satellite applications and local tools for SAP integration to prevent data silos.
• Coordinate technical alignment between SAP implementation team and local app owners for data flows and APIs.
• Assist in the development and execution of the technical runbook for migration.
• Manage the technical testing phases for integrated systems and track bugs until go-live.
• Monitor firewall requests, server provisioning, and user access for migration readiness.
• Update and maintain technical documentation for rewired local applications for post-migration support.

Job description

This role will responsible to ensure a seamless technical transition from legacy IFS to SAP S/4HANA by coordinating the rewiring of local applications and managing the integration touchpoints between the new ERP core and existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dependency Mapping: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all satellite applications and local tools that require reconfiguration or integration with the new SAP environment to prevent data silos.


• Integration Coordination: Facilitate technical alignment between the SAP implementation team and local app owners to ensure data flows and APIs are correctly mapped and tested.


• Cutover Support: Assist in the development and execution of the technical "runbook" to ensure all infrastructure and connectivity tasks are completed during the migration window.


• UAT Liaison: Manage the technical testing phases for all integrated systems, documenting bugs and tracking their resolution before the final go-live.


• Infrastructure Tracking: Monitor the progress of firewall requests, server provisioning, and user access requirements to ensure the technical environment is ready for each migration phase.


• Documentation Management: Update and maintain technical documentation for all "rewired" local applications to ensure post-migration supportability for the IT team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.


• Previous exposure to IT project envrionments, ideally involving ERP systems (such as IFS or SAP), database migrations, or complex systems integration projects.


• Foundational knowledge of API structure, middleware concepts, and IT infrastructure (networks/firewalls).


• Proficiency in project tracking tools and documentation software to manage integration maps and runbooks.


• Ability to identify technical bottlenecks in application connectivity and propose logical solutions.


• Strong ability to bridge the communication gap between technical developers, infrastructure squads, and business stakeholders.


• Rigorous approach to managing granular technical tasks within a large-scale project timeline.


• Available for 12-months contract employment type.
