PT KARYA TEKHNIK UTAMA is seeking a Tax Specialist – Staff to support day-to-day tax administration, compliance, reporting, and documentation. The role requires a solid grasp of Indonesian tax rules and attention to detail to ensure accurate calculations and timely filings.
This position is based in Jakarta and reports to the Tax Department, with collaboration across Finance, Accounting, HR, and other teams.

We are looking for a Tax Specialist – Staff who will be responsible for supporting the company's day-to-day tax administration, compliance, reporting, and documentation. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of Indonesian taxation, is detail-oriented, and able to ensure tax obligations are properly calculated, reported, and documented in accordance with applicable regulations.
Perform daily tax administration and ensure completeness and accuracy of tax-related documents.
Prepare and process monthly tax calculations, payments, and reporting in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
Prepare and issue tax invoices and withholding tax documents as required.
Assist in the preparation and submission of SPT Masa and SPT Tahunan.
Perform tax reconciliation between accounting records and tax reports.
Maintain and organize tax documents, invoices, withholding slips, and other supporting documentation.
Monitor tax payment and reporting deadlines to ensure timely compliance.
Assist in responding to tax-related inquiries, audits, and requests for supporting documents from internal and external parties.
Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, HR, and other departments regarding tax-related matters.
Keep updated with changes in Indonesian tax regulations and their potential impact on company operations.
Support tax review and other tax-related projects as required by management.
Familiar with DJP Online and other relevant tax systems is an advantage.
Able to adapt to updates or changes in the Indonesian tax administration system.
Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related fields.
1–5 years of experience in taxation, preferably in a corporate environment.
Good understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, particularly PPh and PPN.
Experience in tax calculation, payment, reporting, and reconciliation.
Proficient in e-Faktur, e-Bupot, e-Filing, and Coretax/Core-Tax DJP.
Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
Good administrative and documentation skills.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other departments.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.
Having Brevet A & B certification is preferred.
