Job summary

PT Nusantara Pelabuhan Handal Tbk is seeking a skilled Tax Officer to join our North Jakarta team. Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will manage corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes, ensuring timely payments and accurate filings.

You will also reconcile ledgers, maintain tax records, and prepare for audits in a fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in accounting or tax, 3 years of tax experience, strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, and

• Associate degree in accounting, tax or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in tax accounting or tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Coretax.
• Certified Brevet A & B.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience handling audits, SP2DK, reconciliations, and reporting.

Responsibilities

About the role

Reporting to the Tax Manager, this full-time Tax Officer position at PT Nusantara Pelabuhan Handal Tbk' in North Jakarta, Jakarta Raya, will play a key role in supporting the company's tax compliance and planning strategies.

What you'll be doing

Calculate and ensure the correct payment of various taxes including corporate income tax, value-added tax, and withholding taxes.

Prepare and report monthly and annual tax returns through the Coretaxportal in a timely manner.

Perform regular reconciliation and equalization between the company's general ledger and tax reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain organized and accurate tax records and supporting documents for audit purposes.

Prepare for and handle tax audits.

Ensure continuous compliance by staying up to date with the latest tax laws and regulations.

What we're looking for

Minimum Associate Degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a tax accounting or tax compliance role

Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify tax optimisation opportunities.

Proficient in using coretax.

Certified Brevet A & B.

Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines

Experienced in handling tax audits, SP2DK, reconciliations, and reporting.
