Job summary

Batavia Business Solutions (BBS) in Jakarta, Indonesia seeks a Tax Specialist to manage VAT calculations, monthly compliance, and invoicing. The role supports VAT in/out reconciliation, SPT reporting, and e-SPT submissions with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Taxation or Accounting, 1 year of tax experience, strong Excel skills, and hands-on use of E-Faktur and e-SPT tools. Must include a self-introduction video in English.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate VAT and prepare monthly VAT compliance reports.
• Experience in producing tax invoices in large quantities.
• Prepare and reconcile VAT in/out and SPT reporting.
• Prepare and submit SPT for articles 23, 26 & 4(2).
• Handle monthly WHT compliance reporting.
• Check tax implications for all transactions (21, 23, 26, 4(2), VAT).
• Input Tax Reporting to the e-SPT online system.
• Proficient in English (written & spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in Taxation or Accounting with strong taxation knowledge.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the tax sector.
• Hands-on with VAT and tax applications (E-Faktur, Web-Based E-Faktur, e-SPT, e-SPT Online).
• Attention to detail, good analytical skills, able to work under pressure.
• Highly responsible and timely in task completion.
• A strong team player who can also work independently.
