Job summary

garven.solutions, a boutique firm advising international clients on Indonesian tax, investment and transactions, seeks a passionate Junior Consultant in Jakarta. You will work directly with clients and senior advisers, with responsibility that grows as you prove your readiness.

Responsibilities include accurate inputting and reconciliation of accounting data, supporting tax deliverables, and collaborating with auditors and banks. English & Bahasa Indonesia communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax or related field.
• 2 years of experience in accounting and/or tax.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Able to coordinate with a team and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets and accounting/tax systems.
• Proactive learner with positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong initiative and discipline.

• Support preparation and delivery of client deliverables (tax summary, payroll, CIT, VAT).
• Assist in preparing responses to tax letters, audits, and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate with third parties (tax auditor, external auditor, banks).
• Perform data mapping and financial report preparation with accuracy.
• Communicate proactively with clients in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflows.
• Delegate and follow up on tasks to achieve team goals with minimal rework.
• Support development of interns and junior team members.
• Analyze and solve moderately complex issues and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high accuracy in inputting and reconciling accounting data for complex clients (bills, invoices, bank statements, and other accounts).
• Support the preparation and delivery of client deliverables (tax summary, payroll, CIT, VAT) with accuracy and on-time completion.
• Assist in preparing responses to tax letters, tax audits requirements, and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with third parties (Tax auditor, External auditor, bank and others)
• Perform data mapping and financial report preparation with accuracy and consistency.
• Communicate proactively with clients independently and maintain professional correspondence in English.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
• Delegate and follow up on tasks clearly to achieve team goals with minimal rework.
• Support the development of interns and junior team members through guidance and mentoring.
• Analyze and solve moderately complex issues and ensure client satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, tax, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in an accounting and/or tax
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Ability to coordinate with a teamand manage multiple priorities.
