Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Director, Product Merchant Lead for Indonesia to drive market merchant onboarding and growth. You will partner with key merchants, design strategic collaboration terms, and shape a Commerce Media strategy for advertiser-funded content across publishers.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior merchants, manage complex agreements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver strong commercial outcomes and sustained partnerships in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic merchant partnership business development, or an understanding of payments, or the broader technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead the merchant onboarding strategy for market, driving growth in high-quality merchant offers partnerships across priority sectors.
• Scale strategic merchant partners leveraging Mastercard's existing relationship ensuring we deliver incremental value to merchant and strengthens the partnership further.
• Develop and execute a Commerce Media strategy for future growth including sourcing, and scaling advertiser-funded content across the publisher ecosystem.
• Structure, negotiate, and manage complex partnership terms ensuring strong commercial outcomes and long-term strategic alignment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for strategic merchants to build and nurture executive-level merchant relationships.
