Job summary

Asia Pulp and Paper is seeking a System Developer Specialist to support FMIS development, enhancement, and integration across desktop, web, and mobile platforms for forestry operations.

The role requires strong software development skills, familiarity with forestry business processes, geospatial data, remote sensing, and data management to enable planning, monitoring, reporting, and operational activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Forestry, Geomatics, Geoinformatics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in system development or related areas.
• Understanding of Forestry business processes, standards, and work instructions, particularly in Forestry Planning activities.
• Strong understanding of Remote Sensing technologies, including both satellite and UAV-based platforms.
• Knowledge of DGPS field measurements and geospatial data processing.
• Experience in designing and developing desktop, web, and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with system integration and data exchange between enterprise applications.
• Willing to work in WFO setting in Serpong, Banten.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical specifications based on business requirements gathered from stakeholders.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain FMIS applications across desktop, web, and mobile platforms.
• Develop reporting systems to support management and operational decision-making in accordance with PMD business processes.
• Build and maintain data integration mechanisms between FMIS and other internal systems (e.g., SAP, IHMS) as well as external systems (e.g., Hotspot monitoring platforms and contractor systems).
• Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities for system improvement and process automation.
• Support analysis, monitoring, and reporting activities through reliable data processing and visualization solutions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and data integrity.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed systems.
