Job summary

Hostinger is seeking a System Administrators Manager based in Indonesia to lead the Indonesian SysAdmin team within the Product group. This hands-on technical leadership role combines engineering delivery with people management, ensuring uptime and driving productivity.

You will cooperate with global SysAdmin teams, developers, and product managers to maintain and improve hosting services, monitoring, and incident response while growing technical excellence and team health.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting enterprise-level Linux environments and optimizing Linux performance.
• 1+ year technical leadership and mentoring of an engineering or sysadmin team.
• Hands-on experience with the web hosting stack: cPanel/WHM, web servers (LiteSpeed, Apache, Nginx) and databases (MariaDB/MySQL).
• Experience with on-premises / bare-metal infrastructure (Proxmox/KVM, CloudLinux); cloud experience is a plus.
• Led or coordinated shift-based monitoring and incident response with uptime focus.

Your role at Hostinger

SysAdmins Manager in the Product team. As part of Hostinger's Product team, you'll lead the SysAdmin Indonesian team. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role — you'll still operate, debug, and ship alongside your engineers (~half your time stays technical), while your other half is spent safeguarding your team’s health, hiring world‑class people, and putting them in the best position to succeed. Your team runs monitoring shift rotations; you lead and coordinate that coverage but are not personally on a rotating shift or on‑call. You'll own the delivery of product commitments and always look to improve productivity. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Lithuanian and Brazilian SysAdmin teams, developers, engineers, and product managers.

Your day-to-day

• Keep Hostinger's Web Hosting Monitoring team in an always‑ready state;

• Provide long‑term engineering solutions for Hostinger's Web Hosting services;

• Coach, onboard new team members and provide day‑to‑day team leadership and supervision;

• Lead and coordinate the team's monitoring shift rotation and coverage (you set it up and own it; you’re not personally on rotation);

• Foster technical decision‑making on the team but make final decisions when necessary;

• Analyze system performance and solve technical issues;

• Plan and deliver team KPIs and find ways to increase team efficiency and performance;

• Coordinate and automate deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of systems and services;

• Identify service problems from the client's side and advise colleagues on difficult cases;

• Monitor and optimize Hostinger service performance using Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Ansible, and other tools;

• Ensure uptime of core services;

• Make sure retention strategies and downtime handling procedures are followed.

Your skills and experience

• You have been supporting enterprise‑level Linux environments, resolving technical system problems, including product, database, and Linux optimization, for 3+ years;

• You have been technically leading and mentoring an engineering or sysadmin team for 1+ years;

• You have hands‑on experience with the web hosting stack: cPanel/WHM, web servers (LiteSpeed, Apache, Nginx), and databases (MariaDB/MySQL);

• You understand on‑premises / bare‑metal infrastructure (virtualization such as Proxmox/KVM, CloudLinux); cloud experience is a plus;

• You have led or coordinated shift‑based, monitoring, or on‑call teams and care about uptime, incident response, and SLAs;

• Your English skills are C1 - C2;
